Dry Eye
Philadelphia / Bucks County LASIK Surgeon – Dr. James S. Lewis
Transient dry eye is a natural consequence of LASIK. Temporary tear enhancers (collagen inserts in the tear drainage system) are provided without cost to our LASIK patients. Usually LASIK dry eye resolves in six months.
Most patients with mild to moderate dry eye can have LASIK safely and successfully. Our practice is a major referral center for patients with dry eye unrelated to LASIK. We have a number of modalities available to relieve and manage dry eye signs and symptoms. We can prepare you for LASIK and keep you comfortable and seeing well after your procedure.
